Stepping stones to change 

Stepping Stones workshops: these sessions are intended to be learning sessions providing some of the methods that enable behavior changes. By looking at ways that people who may have become stuck emotionally due to the experience of living with someone using illicit drugs or alcohol CAN MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES. Group members are welcome to attend all the sessions or come to those that address their needs.

 

All sessions will start at 2 pm and finish by 3:30 pm.

Understanding Motivation:  This session aims to talk about motivation and the benefits of being motivated.

Feelings and thoughts: This session aims are to give group members a better understanding of managing feelings and unwanted thoughts.

Recovery pathways: This session will be informing group members around recovery pathways that may be available.

Fear cycles: This session will be looking at fear, and how we deal with it in our journey towards change.

New civilization: this session aims to look at thoughts that might act as barriers that could prevent them from reaching their goals and to learn how to approach changing this.

Dual Diagnosis: This session is designed to give group members an understanding of barriers people who have a mental health diagnosis and addiction to illicit substances may face whilst working towards their recovery.

 

Sessions will be held in the Cabin and light refreshments will be provided
